Drowned In Sand
I count the pages
Count the days
Touch the carving
In a rafter
Read a writing
On the wall
Surface untouched and
Pastless mind (so clear)
Will never find it

Never found it

Walk in the streets
Of ancestors' city
Feel the weight of
Such old buildings
On my shoulders
It's coming down!
Things I came to know
And places I remember
I might go there

Don't don't go there

Every time I
Meet the past
It leaves a little wound
I like to clear it all
I smell the sea
I'm down in the desert
Searching for that piece
Of untouched land
I'm drowning....

Drowning in sand
