Introduction
There is
cat /dev/null for things uninteresting. Let's build
cat /dev/eternity for things that
are interesting...
I regularly come accross interesting websites, links, mails, papers, etc, that
I want to read or spend more time on later. In other words, I want to
keep a reference to them somewhere.
Functionality
I could of course dump them into a textfile (in fact, that's what i do right
now). But what i would really like is to be able to send them to a
program that
- asks me for a rough classification of the item (mainly so that i can
always find it back),
- semantically analyses the item, and crosslinks it with all related
items in the store, and
- makes the store accessible through the web, making crosslinks browsable
with a userinterface like The Brain
,
and adding blog/wiki style user feedback.
